Tim Langen's lecture Advanced Atomic Physics has received the award for the 2023 Best Elective Course in physics at the University of Stuttgart. The teaching awards are presented annually by the Physics Students Council during the summer festival of the Department of Physics and Mathematics.
"Advanced Atomic Physics" is a two-semester course that introduces students to the field of atomic physics, from its foundations all the way to state-of-the-art research topics in quantum science and technologies.
