Congratulations to Patrick Kaspar and the Trace Gas Sensing team for winning an award for their poster presented at the 701. WE-Heraeus-Seminar!
The seminar on Quantum Sensing & Magnetometry – from the Nanoscale up to Geological Explorations took place on 12 - 14 Aug 2019 at Physikzentrum Bad Honnef. The poster "An optogalvanic flux sensor for trace gases" was presented by PhD student Patrick Kaspar. It outlines recent work by PI5's Trace Gas Sensing project and was selected by the judges as one of the top 3 posters of the workshop. The award money of 100 € will be donated to a local environment conservation project.
