PI5 is looking forward to hosting the Long-Range Interactions Workshop 2025 at Altes Schloss, Stuttgart from 22 – 24 September 2025.
Over the last decade quantum manybody systems of long-range interacting particles (magnetic atoms, Rydberg atoms, polar molecules, ions…) have become one of the most exciting platforms for quantum simulation, bringing in the spotlight novel quantum phases and intriguing out-of-equilibrium phenomena. The workshop will take place over three days. The limited duration and relatively small number of participants (on the order of 70, including speakers) will allow for in-depth presentations as well as for fruitful exchange of ideas during the informal times such as breaks, social event, and poster sessions. In particular, we expect that the poster sessions to allow young researchers to present their work and establish connections with each other.
The event will be organized by Robert Löw (University of Stuttgart), Francesca Ferlaino (University of Innsbruck) and Antoine Browaeys (Institut d’ Optique).
Registration for the event will open in spring 2025.
